For those of you joining us this autumn – congratulations on getting into Bristol!
You probably already know a little bit about what to look forward to at medical school, from interviews, open days, speaking to friends (even parents!) or doing a bit of research on the web. Nevertheless, everyone still has questions, so we’re trying to collect some resources together to let you know what’s in store!
Galenicals Freshers Guide
You should be getting a paper copy of this in the post at some stage, but it’s also available here. The booklet contains all you need to know about being a Galenicals member – what goes on at medical school, and how to get your membership.

Dates For Your Diary
You may have heard of FRESH – the University’s freshers fair – but we have an extra one all to ourselves. Come along and sign up to the medics sports teams, music and charities; along with great opportunities for buying discount books, stethoscopes, and memberships of defence unions!
Undoubtedly one of the biggest and best nights of the year – almost the entire medical school takes to the streets of Bristol (in fancy dress, of course), to welcome the new freshers in style!
